Terms of sale and licence

1. Who we are

Invitation Vivante is a software work of which Sébastien Sanna is the author and rights holder (hereinafter “the Author”).

2. Who sells to you

Your order is placed with Paddle.com Market Limited, authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the payment, sends you the invoice, applies VAT and processes refunds. On your bank statement, the payment shows as “SS2 EE2” (via Paddle). Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the transaction. These terms govern the licence and the use of Invitation Vivante.

3. Plans and prices

In every plan: the invitation offered to guests in 5 languages (French, English, German, Italian, Spanish) and unlimited guests.

The price is paid once. It includes the licence to use the software for one invitation and encrypted hosting of that invitation for the storage period you choose (3 months by default, up to 6 months after the event date, 12 months with the Wedding plan). The price shown when you order is the price that applies.

Extension. Before deletion, you can extend your invitation’s storage by 12 months for €7.

Changing plans. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time, even after publishing: you only pay the difference between the two plan prices.

Pros offer

Professionals (wedding planners, venues, caterers, agencies) can give Invitation Vivante to their clients or include it in their services: a pack of 10 Wedding-plan invitations for €490 excl. VAT, or a subscription at €39 per month excl. VAT with unlimited Wedding-plan invitations carrying the professional’s logo. This offer is requested at [email protected]; its terms (invoicing, subscription length and cancellation) are set out in writing before any order. The professional’s clients use their invitation under these terms.

4. Trial, order and delivery

You can create and preview your invitation for free, without paying. Payment is only required to publish it.

After payment, you receive a single-use licence code. You enter it at the last step of creation: your invitation then goes online. The code is valid for one invitation only.

5. The licence

The Author grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use Invitation Vivante to create, share and manage one invitation, until it is deleted.

You may: share your invitation with as many guests as you like; freely download, print and share the keepsakes produced (film, album, guestbook).

You may not: resell or transfer the licence or the code; use Invitation Vivante to offer a paid service to third parties, outside the Pros offer; copy, modify or extract the code beyond what the law allows; circumvent its protections; share unlawful content.

6. Your content

You remain the owner of your text, photos and imported music. You warrant that you have the right to use them, and the consent of the people recognisable in the photos (and of their parents for minors). Guests who share photos also commit to this when sending them.

The keepsake film is made solely from your real photos: no face or voice is generated.

Your content is encrypted on your device: the Author cannot read it. The Author may nevertheless take offline or delete an invitation reported as clearly unlawful.

7. Your organiser link

Your organiser link is the only key to your invitation. It is not kept by the Author, who cannot retrieve or recreate it. Keep it somewhere safe. Losing it prevents you from managing the invitation; it does not entitle you to a refund beyond the period in section 8.

8. Withdrawal and refund

Our commitment, beyond the law: the Author refunds you in full if you ask within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, even if you have used your code and published your invitation. Write to [email protected] (or use the form below): the Author triggers the refund with Paddle within 14 days of your request, to the payment method used. The code is then deactivated and the invitation taken offline.

9. Guarantees

You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L.224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). If there is a defect, contact us: we will fix the problem or, failing that, refund you.

Invitation Vivante works on recent, up-to-date browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge). Some features depend on the device: alerts on iPhone require iOS 16.4 or later and adding the dashboard to the home screen; making the film requires a browser able to encode video.

10. Availability and liability

The Author does everything possible to keep invitations available at all times, without being able to guarantee there will be no interruption (maintenance, a provider’s outage). The Author is not responsible for content published by users, nor for the consequences of losing the organiser link. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

11. Deletion

Each invitation is deleted automatically at the end of the chosen storage period, with all its replies, photos and messages. Drafts that were never published are deleted after 30 days. Download your keepsakes before deletion.

13. Disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If there is a problem, write to us first: we always look for an amicable solution.
